Justin Standley successfully launched his new album, Hold On To Love, at the Rooty Hill RSL. There were many special moments throughout this amazing show, but when Justin's daughter, Charlotte, joined him on stage to sing in her very first public performance (singing "In The Arms of the Widow Fig" from the Justin's CD), a shy and nervous Charlotte only made it half-way through her first line before the audience erupted into applause which grew into a standing ovation! The smile on dad and daughter's faces was priceless!

Justin Standley is a dinkum CHART TOPPER

It's been many years since anyone in country music can boast such amazing chart success in the Country Tracks Chart Top 40.

This week sees 100 DROVING DAYS still in the top 10 at no.2 after seven weeks in the charts and several weeks at no.1.

HARD EASY has enjoyed an extraordinary ride in the charts and after 29 weeks is still in the top 30 (just ahead of Justin's mate and fellow Bundabergan, Pete Obrien).

HARD EASY was the 12th most popular song on country radio in Australia last year (Justin's rendition of RETURN OF THE STOCKMAN was the 33rd most popular song of 2015).

After 16 weeks, MAN GONE MISSING is sitting at no.23 this week after entering the charts at no.5, and reaching no.3.

16 February 2016

Following successful performances in Marton NZ, Justin returned home to Australia to perform at the Tamworth Festival and Bungendore Muster. At the end of January, Justin had no less than three songs in the top 5 and presently holds the no.1 position in the CMR charts with his latest single, 100 Droving Days.

What a great start to 2016!

6 December 2015

His first single from the Red Light EP, Return of the Stockman, re-entered the charts this week at number 25.

Justin hung up his patron sash for Relay For Life in Bundaberg last month but remains committed to promoting awareness and raising funds for the popular cancer charity. The first single from the Hope Lives Here CD, produced by Justin Standley and Karen Bath, bounced into the country charts last month at position 31.

June is proving to be a BIG month for Justin!

Justin's charity album, Hope Lives Here, was launched in Bundaberg on 12th June at the first of the C Factor Heats (a talent quest promoting Relay for Life). Justin will be judging at the finals of the C Factor on 16 August. (See HOME page for more details about this special album and where to buy it.)

Justin is also finishing off an EP, titled Red Light. It is being recorded in Hervey Bay (Qld) and Nashville (USA), with Pacific International Music's producer and Bobkatz star, Rob Mackay. It features a cover of the Stan Coster/Slim dusty classic, Return of the Stockman, and 4 new original songs: Red Light, Nora Goodhelp, Hard Easy and Little Ronnie's Ghost (see DISCOGRAPHY page).

...and if that wasn't enough, Justin has been writing furiously ahead of the start of production of his next studio album, Hold On To Me. "There was such an overwhelming response to when we first released the sponsorship program," Justin said. "After the initial rush, we almost reach 3 quarters of our $20,000 sponsorhip target. While I've been writing and producing it's been hard to promote the program, but I start performing again in July and I'll be able to promote the program again. As soon as we reach that $20,000 target I'll be back in the studio."

"I can't believe that only a few months ago I came so close to giving it all away. If it weren't for my many supporters I would have. And it's my supporters who are enabling me to keep making and performing my music. I have achieved so much in the last 18 months, but you know what...? I'm only just warming up."

1 June 2014

Justin begins his unique style of sponsorship campaign to raise the finances needed to produce his next studio album (see SPONSOR page for details).

26 March 2014

Justin has been named the Patron of Relay For Life in Bundaberg. In addition to his role as patron, Justin has undertaken the role of producing a special charity album, 100% of the profits being donated back to the charity.

"Making this album has been a labour of love and one I am especially proud of. I'm so grateful to the other artists who have generously contributed songs to the album - it's simply outstanding!"

The album will be launched on 12 June during a Relay For Life talent quest being held in Bundaberg.
